Katharine enjoys working with pianists in a variety of settings, including masterclasses and workshops, where there is an opportunity to explore repertoire, piano technique, style, communication and musical expression. Her sessions aim to support thoughtful, confident and assured playing while encouraging each student to develop their own musical voice. She has delivered workshops and masterclasses at conservatoires, universities, schools and piano courses across the UK.

Alongside her teaching, Katharine works as an adjudicator at festivals and competitions nationwide. She has also been involved with the BBC Young Musician of the Year, serving as a piano specialist judge on the panel for the regional rounds in 2022 and the first round in 2024.
